Jimmy G, a painter well known in the Raleigh area, created a trike for his wife to ride a while back. It had
a simple square box, but it lacked some of the features Jimmy wanted, such as fenders and a comfortable place for a passenger
to ride. So we fabricated a new box from scratch using repro front fenders, lots of sheet stock, lots of hand forming and
lots of welding. Last year we also rebuilt the engine.

The frame is complete. Fenders are mounted. Later, air shocks
from a FLT will provide suspension. The frame pivots on softail style bearings.
Here the completed body is shown off the bike but still attached
to the frame. The box follows the general lines of boxes from the 1940's. But it has air ride suspension, two covered
compartments, a hinged cover that allows easy access, and that curved recess for the rider's comfort.

Done and ready for paint.Watch for pictures of the painted,
finished replica with a twist.
